During the absolute best hunting weeks of the autumn, we offer an eventful hunt with treeing dogs on the legendary Hoberg land in Åre municipality.
You will stay comfortably at Kolåsens Fjällhotell with full board. Here we hunt on private, mountain-near forest that has a unique and exciting history… It is said that Winston Churchill hunted and fished here in the 1800s when he visited Jämtland…
After long days of hunting in the forest, you can relax with a sauna or hot tub before being served a delicious three-course dinner. You will stay in single or double rooms.

Package Days:
- Day 1: Guests arrive at Kolåsens Fjällhotell and check in. There, a mountain drink with snacks is offered by our own guide, along with information about the program. The evening concludes with a communal dinner.
- Day 2-3: Breakfast. Guests prepare a light packed lunch from the breakfast buffet to take with them in their backpacks. We drive in our own cars for about 25 minutes to the hunting grounds and hunt throughout the day, with breaks for packed lunch and boiled coffee, which we enjoy out in the forest. After the end of the hunting day, there is time for your own activities and relaxation before dinner.
- Day 4: After a good night’s sleep, spend the morning as you wish; hike in the Kolåsen area, pick mushrooms or berries, or just enjoy nature. You must leave your room by 11:00 AM and make your way back to your respective home destination.
